Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many families across the world are facing obstacles and challenges that have resulted from this virus. But right now there is a second pandemic going on: a wave of racism and injustice that have resulted from police brutality and discrimination. That’s why for the month of June, crafts4acause donated all proceeds to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). While injustice and inequality sadly still persists in our world and nation, as does the COVID-19 vrius, we wanted to support a local organization for the month of August.  We are so happy to announce that our "August Cause" is the amazing Neighbors for Refugees nonprofit, based in New York. They dedicate their work to helping refugee families build a new life in Westchester, New York.  For the month of April 2020, we focused on the Larchmont Mamaroneck Hunger Task Force and raised over $550! Now, we hope you will join us in donating to Neighbors For Refugees in order to support their heroic efforts.
